The Harbour Authority operates the government wharf facility at Bay Bulls. The facility consists of a 225ft and a 150ft wharf as well as a launching ramp and a haul up slipway. Catering to the fishing industry, recreational users, tour operators and the commercial shipping industry. They provide services such as vessel bartage, shore power, and unloading facilities at reasonable rates.

Friday April 23, 2010, Sen. Fabian Manning representing the Government of Canada officially announced a 4 million dollar wharf reconstruction and harbour development project for the Harbour Authority of Bay Bulls. This is a multi year development project and other work has to be completed before tenders are called. This is great news for the local fishing industry, tourism, pleasure boater, and others. This project will benefit the entire region and boats of all sizes.
The Harbour Authority of Bay Bulls would like to officially thank Sen. Fabian Manning, The Harper Government, Mr Bill Golding, and Mr Gary Sooley for this project. We would also like to thank the staff of Sen. Manning, Minister of Fisheries, and Small Crafts and Harbours for their hard work and dedication.
The Harbour Authority committee is pleased that the many meetings, discussions, and proposals have paid off.
We would also like to thank MHA Keith Hutchings and MHA Kevin Parsons for attending the announcement.
